A lawyer for Khyati Shah says she was injured when Miguel slammed into her and another
unidentified woman while leaping during his performance at the Billboard Music Awards.
Miguel may be getting ready to adorn one of his female fans with a hefty cash payout.
A woman who was kicked in the head during the R&B crooner's Billboard Music Awards performance in May claims to have suffered head trauma that might have caused brain damage - her lawyer told TMZ.
Miguel, 27, leapt across an audience dividing the stage during his performance, landing with his legs slamming into two women - one of them identified as Khyati Shah.
Shah's lawyer told TMZ that "some of the difficulties she's experiencing are cognitive in nature and lead to suspicion of a neurological head injury."
The lawyer alleged that the Billboard Music Awards' response to the incident - giving the woman an ice pack instead of rushing her to the hospital - was insufficient.

According to TMZ, Shah is awaiting neurological test results before deciding whether she will move forward with a lawsuit against the singer and the BMA producers.
